Job Posted: 8/12/20 Job Summary: The Front Office Assistant will be responsible for connecting our families with our therapists through clear communication and administration. This job is posted as a full time position, but we will also entertain part-time applicants. Communication Duties: -Greet / check-in clients -Clearly explain services offered and policies -Receive and record payments and fees -Answer calls and set up new patients with evaluation appointments -Follow up with families about appointments, outstanding bills & fees, etc. -Communicate with families, therapists, doctors & insurance companies to ensure clients receive appropriate benefits and the best care -Communicate and follow through with COVID19 procedures and policies Administration Duties: -Setup & maintain files and charts -Assist in maintaining the schedule -Assess insurance availability and estimate benefits -Create & maintain records using medical billing software The duties and responsibilities listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed in this position and are not an exhaustive list of the requirements of this job.
